Study finds a majority of POLST forms are signed by Primary Care
The Oncology Specialist’s Role in POLST Form Completion
The American Journal of Hospice & Palliative Medicine reports that the majority of 6,145 patients dying of cancer with POLST forms in the Oregon POLST Registry had forms signed by Primary Care (53.7%), Oncologist signed 14.9% and Hospice and Palliative Medicine 15.3%.
